Access To Service:
SmartTown Wi-Fi is a few wireless Internet service provided by United Fiber, LLC in select areas. It allows users to connect to the Internet using their own Wi-Fi enabled devices, such as smartphones, laptops, and tables, while still accessing United Fiber, LLC’s safe and secure network. By downloading the security certificate profile, customers will be able to automatically connect to SmartTown devices when in range.
United Fiber, LLC provides this service to its customers. Visitors (non-United Fiber, LLC customers) may access the public Wi-Fi on special occasions. United Fiber, LLC reserves the right to control access, which may change at any time without notice. Additional terms may apply and must be accepted before use.
Using United Fiber, LLC’s Wi-Fi Service means you agree to the following terms:
- Use it at your own risk; United Fiber, LLC is not liable for any loss.
- Public Wi-Fi has security risks, and United Fiber, LLC is not responsible for the security of your data.
- United Fiber, LLC is under not obligation to provide public Wi-Fi service and is not liable if it is unavailable.
- Service may be terminated or unavailable at any time without notice.
- Compatibility with all devices is not guaranteed.
- United Fiber, LLC is not liable for any issues related to your device, including viruses or spyware.
- Individuals are responsible for securing their own devices with antivirus software and proper settings.
- Terms and conditions may be revised at any time.
Acceptable Use:
United Fiber, LLC supports the free flow of information and does not monitor content. The use of SmartTown Wifi must be legal and appropriate. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Illegal Activities: downloading or distributing illegal content (e.g., pirated media, malware, etc.)
Intellectual Property Right Violations: Engaging in any activity that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
Privacy Violations: Accessing, viewing or attempting to collect others’ private data or information without consent.
Accessing Restricted Content: Trying to bypass restrictions set by United Fiber.
Unauthorized Resale of Service: Selling, transferring or renting access to the SmartTown Wi-Fi Service to third parties without United Fiber’s authorization, whether directly or as a part of another service or product.
Disclaimer:
You acknowledge that communications over the SmartTown Wi-Fi Services may be subject to interception by unauthorized third parties. United Fiber, LLC uses commercially reasonable efforts to provide you with a secure and reliable service, your use of SmartTown Wi-Fi Services is AS IS and AS AVAILABLE and we cannot and do not make any general or specific warranties regarding the security, availability, performance or other functionality of SmartTown Wi-Fi Services. You are responsible for implementing your own security protections while using a SmartTown Wi-Fi Service. In the event you become aware of any unauthorized use of a SmartTown Wi-Fi Service or any other security breach, you agree to immediately notify us. United Fiber, LLC expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for your use of a SmartTown Wi-Fi Service and for any lack of security that may result from your use of a SmartTown Wi-Fi Services.
Customer Indemnification:
YOU AGREE THAT YOU SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS UNITED AND ITS EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, AGENTS AND CONTRACTORS AND SHALL REIMBURSE US FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES OR EXPENSES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, REASONABLE ATTORNEY’S FEES AND COSTS) INCURRED BY US IN CONNECTION WITH ANY CLAIMS, SUITS, JUDGEMENTS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUR OF (i) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE; (ii) VIOLATION OR INFRINGMENT OF CONTRACTUAL RIGHTS, PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY, COPY-RIGHT, PATENT, TRADEMARK, TRADE SECRET, OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PROPRIETARY RIGHTS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY UNAUTHORIZED APPARATURSOR SYSTEM; AND (iii) YOUR BREACH OF ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT.

You acknowledge and agree that your use of this Service is entirely at your own risk and that you will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the State of Missouri and the Federal Government related to Internet use. By using the Service (by clicking ‘I Accept’), you agree to all the terms outlined in this Agreement.
