For more than 165 years, the Platte County Fairgrounds has brought its community together for the annual fair, weddings, graduation parties and other special events. When the fairgrounds needed internet access that could reach beyond one building, United Fiber was ready to help. Laurie Lewis, vendor coordinator for the Platte County Fairgrounds, first connected with United Fiber when the company participated as a fair vendor. When it came time to prepare for this year’s fair, the United Fiber team came onsite, got to work and had the fairgrounds connected in less than an hour. “When they left, we had internet that I could get clear across the fairgrounds,” Laurie said.
That connection has made a difference for events of all kinds. From video teams to families joining weddings through Zoom, people can stay connected throughout the fairgrounds—without added stress on a special day. “We were all over the fairgrounds, and we were connected,” Laurie said. “Their video people were connected; their family was connected. There was no stress for brides or grooms or families that day.” United Fiber is proud to provide business internet solutions tailored to each organization’s needs, backed by local experts who are ready to help create a connection that works.
