The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that helps connect families and households struggling to afford internet service.
The ACP benefit is non-transferable and limited to one monthly service discount up to $30 per eligible household.
Subscribers can qualify by meeting one of the following criteria:
- Already receive Lifeline benefit
- Income (household’s income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. (See more Here)
- Consumers participate in one of the following Government Programs:
- SNAP
- Medicaid
- WIC
- SSI
- FPHA
- Veterans Pensions & Survivor Benefit
- Free or Reduced Lunch
- Federal Pell Grant Recipient
Option 1: Apply online. Go to www.acpbenefit.org to submit an electronic application and upload any required documentation. If approved, you must contact United Fiber at 800-585-6454, option 3. United Fiber requires an additional form to enroll you in ACP.
Option 2: Apply by mail. Fill out and sign the ACP Application form available on the website; print it out and mail the application and supporting documentation to the ACP Support Center; if approved, you must contact United Fiber at 800-585-6454, option 3.
